CY TMS wasn't designed in a boardroom or pitched on a whiteboard. It was built at the desk where the problems actually happen — and every feature exists because a real fleet needed it.
A working trucking operation, run the way most are: spreadsheets, shared drives, paper DQ files and reminders that lived in people's heads. CDLs and medical cards expired quietly. Audit prep meant days of digging. Drivers called the office for everything.
Yurii Chornous — working inside that operation and writing software — started replacing the mess one piece at a time. A driver roster. A compliance calendar that nags first. A dispatch board. Inspection tracking. Each tool was used the same week it was built, by the people it was built for, and fixed the same day it annoyed someone. Years of that turned into a complete system running a real fleet's daily work.
The office was organized — but drivers were still calling it. So the system got a second half: a phone app where drivers see their safety score, sign documents, complete trainings and request time off, in English, Ukrainian or Russian. The calls stopped being about paperwork.
In 2026 the system grew past the fleet it was born in. Rebranded and rebuilt to serve any company — with per-company data isolation, connect-your-own integrations and features that switch on as you need them — it became CY TMS. Same system, same builder, now with room for your fleet in it.
Features come from actual fleet work — an expiring CDL, a roadside inspection, a driver on vacation nobody flagged. If it doesn't fix a real day, it doesn't get built.
Everything in CY TMS was operated daily by a working fleet office before it ever became a product feature. The rough edges got worn off by real use, not QA scripts.
No account managers, no ticket black hole. Questions, requests and custom work go straight to the person who wrote the system — and answers come back the same way.
Transportation operations professional and software developer. Yurii spent years running safety and compliance for a working fleet while building the tools to run it better — CY TMS is those years, productized. When you email CY TMS, he's the one who answers.
